The location of the guest house with respect to the city was great and we were happy that walking to the Oban Distillery took less than 10 minutes. We booked 3 rooms; two doubles (rooms 1 & 4) and a family room for four (room 6). The rooms had TV and private parking is available in the back. The couple that runs the guest house was so friendly and helpful. I would recommend this as a good value.
The guest house was clean, the contact we had with the owners was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and exactly what we needed. The refreshments in the room were over and above what we expected including a cafetiere and ground coffee as well as instant, with various teas available, both black and fruit.
This was amazing. Julie was there when we arrived and gave us our key. I got a twin room for my son and I. Room was perfect, lovely, freshly painted. Parking at the back of the hotel is free and I was able to leave my car there after I check out. Location is perfect. 2 minute walk to the pool and 2 minute walk to the cinema. Reasonable price. There were other residents staying but I never bumped into them nor did I hear them. It was almost like having the house to ourselves. Will hopefully stay again
Clean cosy big house. Central for everywhere. Staff and Owners very welcoming. Rooms spotless and fantastic shower. Home from home. Would recommend if visiting Oban. Parking is great too
Just a stone through from the heart of town. Very welcoming I loved the heavy duvet very cosy lots of space. Well suited for a family trip aswell , warm rooms rear parking WiFi etc. Felt at home at all times be back again
Nice & clean, friendly staff. Only real downside I could say is the check in time is a bit screwy. Nobody available till 4pm and although they have private parking, you cant access your car on check out unless you walk round. Otherwise good
Easy check in with very friendly welcome, room very clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast delivered to our room the night before so a more relaxed start to our day
So far so good. Nice cozy small rooms close to city center. 15 minute walk to the ferry and train station. It's self check in and checkout, no one at the desk but if you need help it's only a call or text away. Nice little lounge on the first floor where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. Not a place for those who can't climb steps as there is no lift.
